WINTER SOLSICE FEAST  12/21/2024

The time has come for us to join together and create the Winter Feast in celebration of the solstice, the longest night of the year.

This Winter Solstice feast is a chance for us to bond as a community! A place where we lift our spirits and revel in the knowledge that the days will get longer and the sun will return! A time when we unite in food and frolic!

You will be surrounded by art, music, and friends!

Dinner will be a picnic-style potluck; bring food to share, BYOB, and bring your own place settings (we also encourage bringing a bag to hold used dishes).

Tickets are $20 for adults and children over 10, please visit Brown Paper Tickets
 https://2024ballardwintersolstice.bpt.me/

We encourage safe food handling practices and also COVID safety. Please prepare food thoughtfully and use utensils when handling food at the event.

If you would like to contribute, please visit this google doc

“Every part of this soil is sacred in the estimation of my people. Every hillside, every valley, every plain and grove, has been hallowed by some sad or happy event in days long vanished.” ~ Chief Seattle,1854

Our historic building is housed on the ancestral lands of the Coast Salish Peoples, in particular the Duwamish Tribe. To all Coast Salish Peoples we say, "We see you, we respect your right to sovereignty and self-determination, and we are committed to being better listeners, learners, and in lifting indigenous voices."
